Tanzania, a country in east Africa, borders the Indian Ocean in the east. Africa’s highest
mountain Kilimanjaro is located in the northeast. It is a popular tourist destination. About two

Tourist seasons: High tourist season is June to August, mid season December to February and
low season March to May.
