Malta, an Island country in southern Europe, is in the eastern basin of Mediterranean Sea. It is
one of the world’s smallest and most densely populated countries. Out of the seven islands only
three, Malta, Gozo and Comino are inhabited. It is located about 80 kms (50 miles from the Italian
island of Sicily across the Malta Channel. It is a popular tourist destination for numerous
recreational areas, architectural and historical monuments, UNESCO World Heritage Sites,
temples and old structures among others. Valletta is the capital, the largest city, the airport Malta
is located in village Luqa and Heliport Goza in Xewkija.

Tourist seasons: High tourist season is from June to August, mid season April, May, September
October and low season November to March.
