Hawaii MA, This is the only USA state made up entirely of Islands in the northern Pacific
Ocean about 2500 miles from San Francisco, the nearest land base. It encompasses hundreds of
Islands spread over about 1500 miles long. Only eight of these islands are significant in size and
inhabitation and six of these are the most tourist favorite islands. The tourist popular Islands are
Hawaii (The Big Island), Lanai, Kauai, Maui, Molokai and Oahu. Natural beauty, environment,
wildlife, sightseeing and numerous activities include the list of tourist fascination with these
Islands. Honolulu International is the major airport in the state located on the Island of Oahu
besides smaller ones on each of the other Islands. Nihau and Kaho olawe are the other two
Islands names to complete the list of eight.

Tourist seasons: High tourist season is June to August, mid season December to May and low
season September to November.

Snowfall and weather related variants: Snowfall October to March, sometimes August to May
in Mauna Kea (13796 ft) and Mauna Loa (13660 ft) areas of the Big Island, hottest month
September, coolest February, Honolulu hottest month July, coolest January, highest recorded
temperature 100F and lowest 42F.
