Belize: This is a Central America country bordering Mexico and Guatemala with the
Caribbean Sea forming its east coast. Spread over an area of about 8800 sq miles about 180
miles long and 68 miles wide the country has British influence among various cultures and
languages. It is a tourist popular country because of its natural beauty, climate, hundreds of
offshore Cays, safe waters for sports, hills, mountains, wildlife, other attractions and activities.
Belmopan is the capital city and there are several airports spread all over the country with major
one being the Belize City International also known as Philips S W Goldson International Airport
with direct and connecting flights from USA and other countries.

Getting around: Personal and rental autos, taxis, water taxis, inter city air services and public buses.

Tourist seasons: High tourist season is December to January, mid season February to April and
the low season from May to November.
